What We Do

1. Policy and Advocacy
We developed Somalia's first national policy brief on climate-responsive rangeland governance, endorsed by eleven institutions and presented at a national policy dialogue in Mogadishu in 2026.

2. Community Engagement
We go to remote pastoral areas to listen directly to communities. Our pastoralist testimony video captures voices from rural Somalia — people speaking in their own words about drought, land, and livestock.

3. Anticipatory Action
We are piloting Somalia's first dual climate-conflict early warning trigger mechanism at district level — activating response before drought becomes crisis and before tension becomes conflict.

4. International Advocacy
We actively represent Somali pastoralists at international platforms, bringing local voices to global policy discussions on climate, land rights, and sustainable development
